I acquired this lovely piece from the local Salvation Army Store.
It was so plain, but I had a vision of what it could become. I was deep in thought trying to find inspiration, suddenly I had to paint an apple. Not just any old apple, a vintage style ad with an apple as it's focus.
The first stage is to tape off and prime the center. Then draw in your design.
Paint it up and seal it with acrylic varathane.
I really like this little tray, I find it very cheerful.
