My husband Trevor needed a bedside table. He wanted something that wasn't too large, after all he just wanted to put his alarm clock on it.
So off we went to Value Village and found one. This little beauty cost $10.00, I know, that's a bit steep!
Anyway, we brought it home and I sat and stared at it until the blue paint started to make me feel weak.
The first step was to scrape it all down to bare wood again.
Then I painted the drawer knob, the outside and inside of the frame in a beautiful glossy black acrylic.
Then I distressed the paint to make it look like it had been around a while. Then finally I sealed it with acrylic varathane.
Now it looks a million times better than when I bought it.
Bye for now.
